Adult students from Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley recently graduated from South Central Alaska AHEC’s three-week healthcare pre-apprenticeship training called the PATH Academy. Participants were able to earn their Basic Life Support CPR, First Aid, and Mental Health First Aid certifications. In addition to industry-recognized certifications, students participated in an aging simulation activity, visited Turnagain Social Club, and practiced interviewing skills. Several students received job offers before completing the training!
