Rural Immersion Institute of the North (RIIN) is designed for undergraduate juniors, seniors, gap year students and professionals returning to graduate school in the full spectrum of pre-professional health careers. Students spend three weeks learning about health care delivery in Alaska, including ten days in rural areas job-shadowing health care professionals. The rest of the time is spent in Anchorage.
