PATH Manual/Allied Health Camp Manual

We offer step-by-step instruction in implementing your own Pre-employment Acceleration Training in Healthcare Academies or Allied Health Camps. The manual includes how to organize and lead a PATH program, teach each of the curriculum topics, and tips in how to effectively deliver each piece of the curriculum. Accompanying PowerPoint presentations, activity printouts, and  technical assistance  are also included to help you get started! Content of the PATH curriculum comes from the National Consortium for Health Science Education, published research, and in accordance with Alaska Core Competencies.

BH Camp Manual

Implement your own Behavioral Health Camp for the youth in your state, region, or local community using our Behavioral Health Camp manual! The Behavioral Health Camp Manual contains detailed curriculum on mental health support skills for youth, information on various mental health disorders, and behavioral health careers. Skills curriculum include art and music therapy and performing a mock intervention. A sample schedule is included that builds in time for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification (youth must be 18 years of age or older for certification). PowerPoint presentations and activity printouts are also part of the manual. Manual content was created by a licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Alaska Area Health Education Center director. Content is based on published mental health research.
